We wanted to try the authentic Ottoman foods and Matbah delivered! Some dishes are unusual - stuffed calamari and stuffed melon. My celiac husband received gluten-free bread and the menu was clearly labeled. Service was very good and we received a gift of a bead pendant at the end of our meal. We had visited Istanbul before and were very surprised that the restaurant was nearly empty by 10pm. The other diners were locals, Spaniards, and Americans.

Everything is perfect, it is the place to enjoy, and also eat gluten-free peacefully. The letter is super well indicated. The price is high compared to the rest of the restaurants, but it is well worth it! Delicious, I will return!
