Matso's Broome Brewery

We went to Matso twice on our stay in Broome, first visit was fabulous as the waiter was great about telling us what was Gluten Free and the meal was so amazing we wanted to go back, so a few days later we went back to try more things we had not tried and the waiter this time did not write down our order and forgot to tell the kitchen the burger had to be Gluten free, so thank goodness we asked to make sure the bun was GF and they had to take it back, so upsetting and when they brought it back the chips that came with it were coated, ask if they were GF and they said they were but I know costed chips are battered so didn’t eat them, so disappointed as the chips that came with the gluten bun had no coating, it sucks enough being celiac without having to question the waiters like a neurotic fruit loop at the restaurants to make sure your not going to be sick for days because they are not listening

Great place to stop for a drink or a bite - they have gluten free ginger beer, which you can mix with a spicy chili ginger beer for your desired level of kick. They also sell a cider or two for other. Lots of gluten free options on the menu, reasonably priced and really really good and filling. Went in on a rainy day without a reservation, but it filled up fast!
