My cousins and I had gone to Bologna for the day, walking through the streets. We were stopped by the waiter to make us curious and sit at the table as it was lunch time. We said it was fine but before accepting I asked if they have gluten-free food and they said yes. I asked if they could confirm the non-contamination and they assured me again that yes.
So we decided to sit down and have lunch after this information.
While we are taking the order we ask if they also have gluten-free bread available with the starter together with the cured meats and they say yes.
We order appetizer and first course.
As soon as the starter is activated, we ask where the gluten-free bread is and they tell us that it's coming, another 10 minutes pass and the bread hadn't arrived yet, we ask for it and they tell us "but we don't have gluten-free bread" and another waiter says yes, we do.
So I asked myself two questions there and I said sorry but did you have it or not because I would like to understand what I'm eating and they told me that if I don't like it I can leave.
At that point we ask for the bill of what we ate to leave.
The manager said that if there is this celiac problem we can also eat at home without going to trouble in restaurants and the waiter Enzo lied to us about what they really had
In short, it was a very bad experience that ended with the police, the person in charge shouting at me and other girls, placing himself with my love in our faces.
Rude and rude restaurants
They act nice just to attract customers not to mention the shocking prices they have.
If you have cheerfulness or intolerances, don't go to this place because you don't know what you're eating
