Mattenga’s Pizzeria MILITARY DR. (near SeaWorld)

I cannot say enough GOOD THINGS about Erin and the other employees so I’ll just go right to the pizza and the establishment. The place was fabulous. We had the sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, medium, and thin crust and it was cooked. Perfect. The place was clean, and easy to Take out if needed. I love some of the stuff that they have posted on the wall., I love this company and I love these people. There’s choices for people that don’t really do gluten they have a cauliflower crust. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Vegan here: It’s very nice to see a pizza chain carrying vegan cheese and pepperoni. (They also have a gluten free cauliflower crust, but I stuck with the regular crust). I ordered a large vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni pizza, breadsticks, and a garden salad. The salad was okay - nothing noteworthy one way or another. However, make sure that you ask for no cheese. It is not listed as ingredient on the menu, but it is typically made with cheese. The breadsticks are very good. Again, make sure you ask for no cheese as they do come with a Parmesan cheese sprinkle. I did not know this at the time of ordering. Fortunately, the young woman at the counter, Cecilia was very nice and helpful and made me some new breadsticks without the cheese. Oh, and the vegan pizza was also good. I’d definitely eat here again.
