Maud's Tavern

Cute tavern! We have gone back now multiple times. They are so accommodating/knowledgeable with gluten free! There are only a few items that you have to call ahead for 24 hours. But almost everything on their meal is gluten free. I LOVE the turkey shepherds pie with sweet potato mash on the top. And they carry gluten free cake from the local bakery. We also asked about sodium accommodations for my FIL, and the owner said that it could easily be done. So happy to support this business.

Was completely blown away by my experience here! Came here because they have gluten free options (celiac family member). Ordered the Turkey and Sweet Potato Shepard's Pie. It was very, very good...and gluten free! Now, the gluten free fries, for anyone wondering, deff have room for improvement, as they lack the crisp (clearly baked). But, the texture gives you peace of mind because you know they haven't been contaminated in a "dirty" fryer. Overall, a solid 3.5, but the quality gluten free food and great, friendly, warm, homey service pushed it to a 4 star review. I will deff be back and I strongly recommend for anyone who has to eat gluten free!
