Maxime's Restaurant and Lounge

My Mom and I tried this place for the first time tonight and were very impressed, between the food, the service and the place in general! Also we loved that the Gluten Free menu (which I needed since I have Celiac) was a separate menu with FOUR pages!!! This and the care they mentioned taking to make sure my food was safe was appreciated!!! We will definitely be returning and I'm so thankful a coworker recommended Maxime's!!!

We were here to celebrate my neices' 18th birthday, and I must say, they exceeded all of our expectations. Excellent service!!! The staff were very attentive, and the food was superb. They even had a gluten-free menu for my neice with an added bonus of a scrumptious gluten-free bday cake. I highly recommend this place.

We have been here many of times however, yesterday was disappointing. We had a reservation of 8, called to change it to 9, and the lady was extremely rude on the phone & told us we have to squeeze and it's "very tight but if we need 9 she'll add a seat that we have to make work", and that we are to pay 15% gratuity. when we arrived more than half the tables were open and they could have properly accommodated us 9. There are 3 of us who are Celiacs and had Crispy Thai Chicken, Prawns, Yam Fries and all got sick. We were told Yam Fries are a separate deep fryer and celiac safe, and we all ordered off the Gluten Free Menu. Our servers were very kind and provided us great service. It is just unfortunate us celiacs were sick, and our chicken was served cold. You could tell the meal sat out a bit before being brought to us. Overall our usual experience is great, however yesterday was not. I would not recommend eating here as a Celiac forsure.
