Maya Bar & Grill

The drinks were good, the food basic ok. We had to wait an hour for a table and ordered drinks and Nachos (*2) gluten-free at the bar. We got the Nachos and checked to see if it was gluten free, it wasn't. The waiter was taking the second portion away to which we said that you don't need it if you throw it in the trash. Asked if that gluten-free half. We said no thanks. We also heard from the counter that everything was not okay because it was the restaurant's mistake to bring the wrong food. Later we got a table, everything was ok, we ordered the bills and it turned out that half of the Nachos had been left open on the bar side. We were surprised that we were left with the impression that a replacement was not brought because the restaurant had failed. I hear you have to pay because we hadn't returned the second portion to the kitchen. That apparently this restaurant serves food that goes back to the kitchen to the next customers. It's certainly not a big amount (and that's also why), we couldn't bear to start twisting. But the bad taste remained and we will certainly vote with our feet in the future. The bad feeling remained.

This rather inconspicuous restaurant served very good Mexican-style food, including a variety of vegan and gluten-free options.
