Made a reservation for 3 of us at 3:30 today (Sunday) for my husband's birthday. I saw the website said there'd be a band from 3-6. Perfect. We were looking forward to eating outside. Got there & headed for the patio but were stopped & told there was a $15 per person cover to be outside & basically there were no tables anyway. So we get seated inside. Server (very tall gentlemen) took our order. My adult daughter ordered the corned beef reuben without bread & told the server she was intolerant to gluten. She then asked if the fries had any flour coating because she wouldn't be able to eat them if they were. He said he'd check. Food gets delivered by a different person. We asked AGAIN if fries had flour. Guy said he'd check. We never saw that person again. Were half way thru eating and original server comes to check on us. We ask AGAIN about flour on the now cold fries. He says he doesn't think they have flour but he'll check. Comes back a few minutes later & tells us that they DO have flour on them. Asks my daughter who is almost done with the part if her meal she could eat if she wants another side - he suggests onion rings - that have FLOUR on them. By this point we're just ready to leave. The whole experience was just crappy from start to finish. Dear Manager - consider posting something on your website about the cover charge and TRAIN YOUR STAFF about food allergies. In this day & age, servers should know what gluten is especially when someone tells them they can't have anything with flour on it. We used to enjoy this restaurant/pub but you've lost us and everyone we've ever recommended you to.
