I went to this Maccas for the family takeaway night. This restaurant is just down the road and an easy option...or so I thought. I used the drive thru as I have nerve damage and mobility issues. Placed the order and paid over 10 minutes, was then asked to go to waiting bay.....wait I did. Although I went to the waiting bay as directed, no-one came to my vehicle...which is a huge 4wd and hard to miss. Cars around me were served and new ones came and went. I tried to flag down staff who were oblivious to the fact that the same vehicle was still there. After 45 min, I hobbled out of the car and went inside. As a teenager I worked in a takeaway place so I always try to be nice. I walked to the counter and told the person the issue. Turned out it was the manager. She packed my order herself and bought it out along with a refund. For that I am grateful. This review is based on about 10 experiences with a poor average. We've had orders that were wrong altogether or missing items multiple times. I've given up completely for all future trips. The staff are so young and not very knowledgeable. One even corrected my correct pronunciation of jalapenos to jal..ap...e...nose. While this was and still is hilarious, I would like to think staff could correctly pronounce items on the menu. Lord know I had to back in the day. 9 times out of 10 you will be put in a waiting bay. My advice would be to check your order...every time. If you are gluten free, don't bother. You cant eat the fries, nuggets, burgers, iced coffee drinks, ice creams or thickshakes. You can have a salad, but only before midnight. Apparently after this time its too hard to put the ingredients in a box. Sorry guys, I wish I had better experiences. I hate leaving negative reviews. I really hope things improve for those who choose to continue being customers.

Love the gluten free options. All maccas should bring it in, not just singleton, Greata and rutherford. Been told they no longer sell the gluten free range since new owners took over. So won t be going back now.
