If I could I would give it 0 stars!! We were just there and ordered a Happy Meal with a gluten-free cheeseburger for our son who has celiac disease. It is unbelievable what happened to us. A burger containing gluten was put in the Happy Meal. After our son had eaten half the burger, the employee came to our table with the gluten-free burger. We were shocked and angry. All we got was a sorry and the employee turned around and left. Sorry but that borders on negligent bodily harm. This is really the last straw!!!

Where should I start?! We, two children & two adults, have booked our summer vacation for two weeks in Bork Havn Hemmet. In addition to everything that is wonderful here, we were looking for gluten-free meals every day and “unfortunately” we didn’t find anything. Our daughter suffers from celiac disease. So STRICT GLUTEN BAN. If you are outside the holiday home and want to fortify yourself with something unknown, gluten intolerance makes it very difficult and sad for the person who would “look”. In our home country, McDonald's ONLY offers gluten-free french fries. So we haven't gone to McDonald's for years. But: Thanks to the two older McDonald's reviews that said we got ONE gluten-free burger here, we set off. My daughter is looking forward to finally being able to go to McDonald's again. Arrived and trying to understand the menu, we had to ask. The map did NOT obviously say/show it. The very friendly service said the decisive sentence: EVERY burger except for the chicken burger (breading) is edible for my daughter. That means she can eat BURGER (plural) 🥲 My daughter couldn't believe it, couldn't believe it and promptly cried with joy. Of course there was a BIG MAC and for her it was the culinary highlight of our vacation. Before we go back home, we will come to you again. Thank you Mc Donalds Ringkøbing. You will never be forgotten by us.
