McDonald's

Tables were all dirty, floors were dirty, leftover food was on the floor, restaurant wasn't overly full, the first gluten-free burger was very good, unfortunately the second burger bun was cold or not fully baked, staff was friendly, but could have done with more can take care of the cleanliness of the tables instead of waiting at the counter for the next customer, the service desk didn't work properly and was also unclean, you had to pay for the toilet

Apeldoorn has 3 McDonald's and so the proponents and opponents of the Mac can make themselves heard 3 times. If you read the reviews it is always black and white. Either it is really bad, no good, dirty food or it is fine, good food, friendly staff. Of course it is all possible, and taking every customer seriously, but I can imagine that it is difficult. We, my wife and I, have nothing against McDonald's, but we don't eat there every day either. When we are shopping somewhere, we go to the Mac, if it is nearby, for a quick bite, a quick snack, so as not to go to an extensive restaurant. If there is no Mac and we are hungry in between, we look for a sandwich shop or snack bar. But if there is a Mac, we happily walk in because I really don't think the food is bad, and it is always greasy or salty, which is also a matter of talking to each other. McDonald's has done a lot in recent years to provide healthier food, the beef burgers are thin and not greasy, but they now have many other types, chicken, fish, croquette, vegetable burger, and there is even more vegetables and salad, and also gluten-free food, people learn from the customers. During our tourist stay in Apeldoorn, at v.d. Falcon the Cantharel, in 2017, we also visited this Mac in the afternoon. A beautiful building on the corner of Hofstraat in the middle of the center. It is a large building, but due to the hustle and bustle of the city center, it is still too small, especially at certain times, and the nearby station also brings visitors. It is the new style McDonald's with ordering stations and screens, but the food has to be made. So sometimes we have to wait a little longer, but I don't get the impression that it leaves the staff uninterested.
