Great little place away from the hustle and bustle, fantastic steak quality and very friendly service. We ordered 2 rib eye steaks with peppercorn sauce, mash, rosemary potatoes and onion rings. Staff were great with knowledge of gluten intolerance. Will definitely be back and recommend to people!

Oh my goodness! What a terrific meal. A classic, and simple enough meal, but so very, very well done! From the cocktails, through the main course, and on to dessert, just fabulous. I have coeliac disease, so need food which does not contain (nor is contaminated by) gluten. I was presented with my own gluten free menu on arrival, which always warms my heart. This meant that I didn't have to ask the waiting staff what I could eat, or give them a list of preferences while they went away to ask the chef. I knew what I could eat, and just made a selection. You wouldn't understand how exciting that is until you are in that position. I was utterly delighted to be able to have any of the steak sauces, which is so unusual in most restaurants. Thank goodness for a chef who does not see the removal of gluten as a hindrance! The only disappointment for someone on a gf diet would be the lack of fried foods. It would have been the icing on the cake to have been able to have chips, but I presume the lack of a separate fryer prevents this. All in all though, a tremendous meal, served by delightful staff. A definite 5 stars!
