Medley | Kangaroo Point

My birthday party hosted at Medley was a sensational event, with thanks to the Medley team looking after everything perfectly. The food from the functions menus was great; large portions, delicious and contained a wide choice variety. Medley catered for gluten free guests and food allergies amongst 34 guests to look after. We were able to have live music and accommodated a dance space even with two long tables for dining. White table cloth, drinks service…. Medley being flexible with arrangements made it all run smoothly. Gratitude to Nick, Narayan and the whole Medley team who made it all possible! I would have another dance event there again if the chance arose!

I strongly do not recommend Medleys for dinner. My drinks were often forgotten, and when they did eventually arrive were poured at under a standard drink size. My cousin had the medleys grill. And the fish was rock solid frozen, when he tried to send it back they said it’s supposed to be served medium rare.( solid frozen). The price on food was expensive. The menu was not child friendly, no kid options. The only gluten free desert wasn’t available. The communication between the waiting staff was a lot of the time very difficult as they spoke mostly broken English. The menu was completely different when booked a month ago, we were not told of any changes! However The ambience was great! Terrific view! Following our experience here, we were left, with potential food poisoning. Many options were inedible, some of my family either went home and ordered food. Other went to another restaurant, and some worried about food poisoning. Overall we will won’t be going back, wouldn’t recommend this “restaurant” to anyone.
