Megan's by the Castle Restaurant (Guildford)

I had a perfect lunch at Megan’s in Guildford today. We sat upstairs; which is beautiful and we’re served with charm and efficiency. The plant based ‘lamb’ is fantastic. I can’t wait to go back. Also, they gave me a gluten free brownie to take home. How kind!

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt it was worth the effort to write one for our visit to Meghans in Guildford. The staff were incredibly friendly, we were served by Preethi and Honor (sorry if I get the spelling wrong). We went for a last minute celebratory birthday breakfast. They were very attentive and helpful with giving advice on the best gluten free options for breakfast for my boyfriend. We had the n’duja turkish eggs, the eggs Benedict (and a complimentary eggs Royal due to a little mix up). It was all absolutely delicious, and to top it all off they also gave my boyfriend a complimentary gluten free brownie to say happy birthday. Not to mention that the decoration of the restaurant is so so nice and cosy. If u want a tasty brunch with a lovely atmosphere and really lovely staff I cannot recommend this place enough. We will certainly be back to try the other nice things on their menu.
