Mel's Petit Café

I’ll preface by saying I have a severe gluten intolerance, and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. They cleaned all the equipment and changed their gloves before making my order, which put my mind at ease. I ordered the savory classic crepe with buckwheat, I believe someone else posted a photo of it already. Wow, it tastes amazing and fills you up but not in a bad way. The fresh salad is a breakfast addition as well. The coffee, lattes and cappuccinos are also very well made. The atmosphere is very relaxing, nice decor, and the shop is well kept and clean. Definitely give Mel’s a try when you’re in the Burgh!

Delicious! Cute! Unique flavors and familiar favorites. There is something here for most people. I’m excited to come back and try their gluten free items with my gluten free fiancé
