What a find in a small town in Mexico! The charcoal crust pizza tastes so good and didn't both my gluten intolerant partner at all. I had the ribs and they tasted amazing! It was slow when we went and we felt like all the servers were watching us eat. Other than that this place is a must visit! Our server Daniel was really great!

I have a gluten intolerance so I can't have pizza dough. Most restaurants only have thin cauliflower crust so I try to find restaurants that serve sourdough pizza as the fermentation process reduces the amount of gluten. Imagine my excitement when I discovered Mem's! The sourdough and black dough pizza crusts are absolutely delicious! I could have eaten there every day of our trip but kept it to two! They serve it with sauteed onions, red peppers flakes, and chimichurri. The people, the food and the atmosphere makes this a must visit when you are in Puerto Morelos!
