Mendocino Farms

My sister and I regularly frequent this Mendocino Farms as it's on my way home from work and they have some really great gluten free options. We always get quick service and have been pretty fortunate to never have a mistake on a pick up order which doesn't happen often these days. Yesterday, when I got home with our food I noticed my gluten free sandwich was definitely the wrong order. Frustrated I called the restaurant ready to take out my "hanger." The manager John happened to answer the call with lots of care and compassion noting the frustration that comes with not only a wrong order, but with not having the option to eat at all since it wasn't gluten free. I feel like a lot of the times I have issues with take out orders in other restaurants as I've been brushed off, but John was willing to make the situation right. When I went to pick-up my new sandwich there had been a manager swap, but even then the manager on duty (I failed to catch his name in the rush) was quick to provide me with my new sandwich and have me on my merry way! Can't recommend them enough.

What have people told me about MENDOCINO FARMS? "It's aight" "Ike's is my kinda thing" "it's pretty expensive" Plebians. Uncultured swine. All of them. The peaches and goat cheese salad is heaven in a bowl. The chimichuri sandwich is sex on bread. The Oaxacan potato salad is offensive to the Oaxacan people but delicious all the same. And GLUTEN FREE. delicious. amazing. Only thing that sucks is the atmosphere. It's like a gym daycare in there.
