I want to clarify that I wrote my initial review before speaking directly with the restaurant. I really appreciate the explanation they gave me and that they are working on updating the menu to correct the allergen information. I also appreciate them reviewing the "Grandma's Cake," which is currently listed as gluten-free as well. Otherwise, the experience was very good; the food was delicious, and I felt safe eating there. ***** Everything was delicious, and the service was good. They also have some gluten-free options, which is appreciated. However, the desserts on the menu are listed as suitable for celiacs, but in reality, most contain gluten, so the allergens are not clearly indicated. It would be important for them to correct this section to avoid confusion and so that people with intolerances or celiac disease can eat with peace of mind.
