This has been a favorite spot for years, even after moving out of town. The food is so, so consistently good. The flavors are rich and bold. I tend towards things that are not spicy, but the folks I've been here with who prefer spice say they get it right every time. While never super busy, it feels like a family spot with a pretty chill atmosphere where you can spend a good while lingering over something delicious. If you are gluten free, you can call ahead to ask for gluten free injera (give them a couple hours). The outside patio is a big bonus, especially as weather gets warmer. My favorite Ethiopian spot, hands down.
