Mestizo Contemporary Mexican Cuisine

Had my birthday dinner here tonight and it was wonderful! I have Celiac disease and our server was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The gluten free chicken bites appetizer is so good! I will definitely be back for those! The open faced enchiladas are very fresh, but personally I'd prefer closed, rolled enchiladas smothered in sauce/cheese. Open faced was difficult to eat. Wine selection was really good and they have a great variety of reds and whites from Chile and Argentina. All around, it was a good time and we look forward to coming back and trying something different from the menu!

We stopped in and asked about gluten free, everything is gluten free! So we stayed for lunch! They use potato flakes for the lightly fried menu items and there is the option of a flour tortilla but gfree eaters have the corn tortillas. The food was delicious and the servers were very pleasant and helpful. Very fun and relaxing vibe. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Davidson!
