Mestizo Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar

Food was incredible, some sauces/flavours reminiscent of a previous trip to Mexico. Great varied menu. My gluten intolerant partner had plenty of choice. Be warned that corn wraps and wheat wraps aren’t separated when kept with their thermal sleeve. Was given a shot of a frozen cocktail to try at the end, it was sensational so would love to return to have it! Staff were nice (bit eccentric)

Gluten-free options. Very tasty enchiladas for instance. Convenient near Euston Square/Warren Street. Oh, and good value!

The service was fantastic once we sat down and we enjoyed a delicious mango margarita at 50% off! Restaurant has a cafe style layout, wooden chairs and tables. I ordered chicken mole poblano with potatoes and beans. The mole sauce had a slightly bitter aftertaste - not sure if it was cooking too long, or if it was the ingredients but it wasn't as enjoyable as I hoped. The Tres Leches dessert was fantastic. Overall I'd try the restaurant again but order something else. It's gluten free which is why I visited with a friend who has an allergy. She ordered tamales and they tasted really nice.
