Things were positive from the start when menus and tap water arrived as we sat down. My partner loves steak and this menu was perfect for him; I love veg and am gluten free and there were multiple great options for me with most dishes having a gf variant. The chimichurri smashed potatoes absolutely hit the Saturday brunch spot, and J’s mushroom pasta steak was beautifully cooked: tender and juicy and a very good size for the cost. The location is a little odd (we were on our way to Clay Cartel), but the service and food were spot on — hidden gem near the Metro. Also, proper chocolate hot chocs!
