Really good Sunday lunch. Not a great selection for gluten free but found something and it was sufficient. Great ale. Good atmosphere.

Absolute shambles of a place. Went in for food, paid nearly £20 for a lamb dish and had 4 small slices of lamb. It looked like a starter, the lamb was also not of great quality and we were served very erratically waiting 5/10mins for different plates to arrive so it was very antisocial. The bar staff were huddled to one section of the bar with people standing around while there was a que of 10 people waiting to be served. Just shocking level of service and quality for an extortionate price point.
More to the point, I ordered a gluten free meal and when it arrived the girl serving had 2 lamb dishes (miss ordered) and I clarified this meal was actually GF. She lied and said it was without actually checking and I was actually really ill the morning after because of it.
