Mexican Society

I recently hosted a Hen’s Day Long Lunch at Mexican Society and I could not sing their praises more highly. Service was great and the food was phenomenal. Everyone commented on how yummy everything was and how it just kept coming. We chose one of the banquet options and were so very satisfied. I have to mention that 13 of the 19 guests had dietary requirements (Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Pescatarian and some allergies) but the restaurant went above and beyond to ensure everyone was accommodated for. Really nice atmosphere and the food is delicious. The chicken was beautifully cooked, juicy and succulent! There is a good range of spicy and non-spicy, meaty and vegetarian and lots gluten free options. The staff are lovely. There is so much 'crunch' and texture and exciting flavours, but very specialised - which is fine if you love authentic Mexican. The desserts are also delicious. Corn cake was divine and churros were beautifully crispy! The only thing I would say that could improve would be the timing of the meals. Each dish came at varying times rather than all at once. But we weren't waiting ages.
