Mexicana Grill Flon Lausanne

I recently had dinner at the Mexican grill restaurant at Flon, in the heart of Lausanne, and I was satisfied with my overall experience. The dishes were good, but I think they could add a little more spice to some dishes. However, I appreciated the variety of the menu which is suitable for both vegetarians and people with gluten intolerance. Additionally, Tuesdays offer a good opportunity to take advantage of discounted taxi fares, and Wednesdays are hosted by a mariachi. The atmosphere was warm and the waitresses were pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant evening with friends or family.

So sincerely, completely disappointed... and despite all the opinions on the site I still wanted to make my own opinion... and sincerely... the positive opinions I doubt that they come from real customers and not rather those from acquaintances of the establishment.🙄🙄🙄 Because the only positive point was perhaps the decor.. But level of service... it's 2 out of 10... When you arrive there is no explanation regarding taking your order... and so you end up with starters and main course at the same time.... And all this before the drinks and therefore the fact that the hot dishes come out before the drinks I doubt the freshness of the dishes as mentioned on the site and that of the “customer” reviews. Cuisine speaks of authenticity but nothing to do with Mexican cuisine. It's bland, no flavor.. the pancakes are supposed to be made from corn.. but it doesn't look like it at all... so for those who are gluten intolerant,,,, be careful... check the photos And regarding the service, don't forget to check your bill and what is marked on the menu.. ... because during the evening.. we had a lot of fun between us... and not thanks to the establishment... we ordered tequila shots... and on the menu the price was for 4cl but we only received 2 cl... And following that.. we also noticed that the price of the tequila that we ordered was not the same.. because they charged us another one more expensive😡😡😡 And following the complaint... 1st response: oh we're sorry because we no longer have the one you ordered... lol... and so that means you don't have the goods, are you forcing me to take the most expensive one?? Without my consent??? lol lol Following that the “manager” lol arrived and told us: oh I’m sorry for the error on the menu.. and that I myself would have liked to drink the 2 cl that remained!!????? lol that doesn’t mean anything… so you see the level of management of the establishment… And finally during the bill... on the receipt they charged us for 12 shots and let's say they "offered" us 6 shots.. and in reality we consumed 12 shots.. And so when he gives you free items, check even though they haven't put them a little higher in the invoice... Overall we had a very, very bad evening... and it's a shame because the concept was great... and when a restaurant is half empty on a Saturday evening in the city center that means everything... without counting we leave with an empty stomach for a bill of 297,30 francs so is this normal?????? … And for those who have money and time to waste don't hesitate to make your own experience... and those who want to have a great evening with friends or family go your way... go to MC donal instead at least you will get your money's worth..
