Don't be fooled by the smart exterior & indoor decor that's the only good thing. The food was vile, the service was slow considering how quite the restaurant was. The rump steak looked enemic, it certainly hadn't been cooked on grill or fried it looked like it had been cooked in the microwave! It was tough & just gristle totally inedible, I spoke with a staff member who said they would give my 50% discount seriously I haven't eaten hardly any, he agreed not to charge me for the main course (the steak) the girl who was our waitress was lovely and so apologic she did say several people had complained about the steak. My friend has to have a gluten free diet the waitress noted this she said she could have the burger without the bun after checking with the kitchen, when the food came my friend was given a burger the kitchen had put the burger in a bun then took it off again luckily the waitress spotted it a new burger took nearly 40 minutes to be cooked. Had the waitress hadn't noticed my friend would of been ill. The manager said that the burger was on the house! It wasn't brilliant & the cheese was disgusting. We only paid for our drinks as the food so disgusting. Cocktails We were going to order some Cocktails but noticed that the next table hadn't drank their's we asked if the drinks were OK they said no they were all watered down. I would advise to avoid this restaurant like the plague the reason this restaurant was the only place in Leicester with any availability to eat on a Saturday night was obvious. As we weren't the only people with issues speaks volumes.

Have attended (and walked in) multiple times, and the staff are always very attentive, accommodating and friendly, even during busy periods. The food and drinks are very nice, but do feel like the menu is slightly limited for coeliacs. Really liked that we were given water without asking. It's got a really great atmosphere due to it being a converted bank.
