Great little cafe tucked away in a side street near Malvern Station and Glenferrie Road. Very busy at 12.30 on a Wednesday, but the constant turnover of tables means you won’t have to wait long. Coffee is excellent (I had a second), as was my toasted baguette. The cakes & pastries look amazing, much more interesting than the now all too common gluten, dairy and nut free or vegan offerings in many cafes. I know some people have allergies but am prepared to bet that many more do not. Finally, the attentive manager circulates constantly, checking that patrons are happy.

Payed $6 for a small hot chocolate that tasted like nothing yet managed to leave a bitter aftertaste. Not giving 1 star purely because I can't try the food (gluten and dairy intolerant). I rarely leave negative reviews but I'm having a bad day.
