Mimi's Tea Cottage

I go for afternoon tea at different tea houses a lot, and Mimi's has the best gluten free tea service I've ever experienced!!! I had a reservation with a group, and mentioned when we made the reservation that I was gluten free. Not sure what the experience is like in a different situation, but I am so happy to say that I got to have everything my non-gf friends had at this tea, maybe one or two things were different but they were substituted with equally lovely treats so I didn't even pay much attention. I was even offered a choice between multiple different scone flavors!! If you are celiac/gf you know that having flavor options is so rare- and my scone was DELICIOUS! The service was also wonderful, all our servers were enthusiastic and warm. I would absolutely recommend visiting Mimi's to anyone, but especially gluten free people!!

I have never been to a teahouse before and this one was definitely the place to start! It is absolutely darling inside. All the finishing touches are perfection. The staff is friendly. There are many different varieties of teas. I eat gluten-free and was thrilled to be able to enjoy everything that was available! And it was absolutely delicious! Definitely worth the visit even if you have to go out of your way!
