Ministry of Brewing

What a cool place to have a brewery!! We tried almost everything on the tap between the 4 of us and liked all of it. They have a decent spread from IPAs to Porters to Sours to Gluten-free options. The space is large and not too loud. It's also great for families, even small kids, due to its space and games available.

For any beer enthusiast in the area, this church turned brewhouse is worth going out of your way for a stop. The ambience provided from the remains of a Catholic church provides one of the most unique and awe-inspiring drinking experiences of my life, complete with high ceilings, ornately decorated pillars, and frescoes lining the ceilings. At the front of the brewery, the altar and pulpit are replaced by a slew of brewing equipment, setting the tone that this is church worships a slightly different blood of Christ. The tap rotation featured a wide selection of styles, some fan favorites, other more eclectic, all of which were delicious. My partner, who is gluten free, enjoyed the hard ciders they had as well. If you are in Baltimore for even a day trip, I highly recommend a stop. I am looking forward to returning soon!
