Mio Stone Grill and Sushi

I love ordering from here! After recently discovering that I am gluten intolerant, I was hesitant to try another Japanese restaurant, but I'm glad I did! I called the restaurant to check out some gluten free options and recieved some information that may be helpful to others. You can order almost anything and ask for it gluten free. This means anything breaded and fried will just be steamed. I had gotten the chicken yakitori gluten free which just means no sauce. It was not very flavorful, but I was provided with gluten free soy sauce, so that helped! I also really miss eating California rolls, as imitation crab has gluten in it. Mio has the option for REAL crab California rolls which were exceptional! Unfortunately the soups and sauces are not gluten free. I would love to see these guys make a statement by creating a gluten free tempura and having gluten free sauces! *hint, hint* Thanks Mio! Today's food was awesome!

Mio is consistently excellent. Their sushi is fresh, their tacoyaki is fantastic, and the non-sushi dishes are always well made. They are sensitive to gluten free requests and very accommodating.
