Miss Shirley's Cafe, BWI Airport

The thing I like about miss shirleys is the gluten free options. I tried to order pancakes and was told their gf griddle is broken. For a restaurant that makes such a big deal about their gf items you should make sure you can actually offer it to your customers who cannot eat anything else.

Be aware if you have food allergies! I ordered avacodo toast on gluten free bread to go 30 mins before my flight boarded. The kitchen forgot to make my order and then brought it to me last minute. Once onboard I realized it was not gluten free. Yea I paid an upcharge for it, but more importantly I have an allergy they noted during my order. I spit out the one bite and couldn’t eat the rest. Now I’m hungry on my flight and afraid of the doom me and the other passengers now face due to a gluten contamination. IYKYK.

I had a great experience at the Miss Shirley's location at the airport. I was in a time crunch of sorts, but the staff was friendly, my food was out quickly, and tasted very good. The staff was very accommodating to my gluten sensitivity and made sure that everything I wanted could be made accordingly. The gluten free pancakes were delicious!
