I had a great meal here! My dining partner and I tried two kinds of rou ga mou, the Xi'an cold noodles (liangpi), and the lamb stew (yang rou pao mo). All of them were absolutely delicious. The cold noodles were served separately with the sauces so they would not get soggy. They were very flavorful and the gluten pieces tasted very fresh. The two rou ga mou were also very good, and would be a good choice if you haven't tried this kind of cuisine before but like barbecue food. The mutton stew was also excellent. It was better than ones I've had in major cities, with a flavorful broth. It is also a safe choice if you are unfamiliar with Xi'an food. Make sure to get the garlic made in house and the spicy paste, which are served separately to add to taste. The owners were very welcoming and accommodated us wanting to split things to try. The dining area is small (4 seats), so take-out is recommended. You can order via phone, app, or using the tablet right at the counter. We will certainly be back!
