I've eaten Modern Market a lot and it is always good, consistent, packed carefully, and correct. I have Celiac and never get sick. But most importantly, what finally inspired me to write a review after getting takeout here was the service from one of the managers, Harry. They were out of the banza crust and I missed the call about it and showed up. I am not a picky customer, my husband and I run a cafe and I know stuff runs out. I would have left feeling fine if he had just refunded the pizza. But instead he made sure I got the sandwich I wanted (and made it himself immediately, and noticed I had put in an allergy on the order and was very careful), recommended the carrot mango lemonade, gave me a fountain drink to try it, and then when I enjoyed it he popped a bottle of it and a gluten free cookie in my bag. It was just such a superb customer service experience I left grinning from ear to ear. I also watched him so very kindly remake an order another customer messed up himself, without any shame or judgment, just totally focused on pleasing every customer. Customer service, especially when something goes wrong, really is the difference between someone coming back a couple times and someone telling all their friends. I'm going to tell all our employees about Harry as a role model for a total customer service bullseye. And I'll be back with all my friends for sure ;)
