Mom's Pie House - Julian

I booked a home in Julian for a long weekend and wanted to always try Julians famous apple pie, woke up early as usual and walked around the town and was the first customer of the day at the pie shop. Staff were extremely friendly and gave us a warm welcome and gave us a great tour of all their baked goods. I’am always excited to see and try gluten free options and I took one of each baked goods. Menu is great lots of different options to slices and ice cream pies and coffee, cookies honey and more. I was highly satisfied with my purchase and already made an online pie order for pick up. Lines get really long so make an order today and try some of their pies, sugar free options too.

The shop has a welcoming, down-to-earth vibe with charming décor that makes you want to sit and stay awhile. It feels less like a commercial bakery and more like a neighborhood hangout where comfort is baked right into the atmosphere. A plus fot me is they have glutenfree options...

Ordered a bumble berry delicious gluten free option with vanilla ice cream. You still get a crumble and crunch pie effect. Filling is flavorful: blueberries, blackberries and raspberries.
