Beautiful restaurant! Every aspect of it is picture perfect. Ordered the vegetable tajine with jeweled rice to meet my gluten-free diet and saitate my savory vegetable palette. Wonderful date night, celebratory, or to simply try a new restaurant.

The food was good, but the service left something to be desired. It might have had something to do with not anticipating a packed Thursday before a holiday weekend or maybe a server or two called out, but we were surprised by the overall guest experience. We had a reservation, but it still took 15 minutes to get seated, not a big deal, but once we were seated no one greeted us for another ten minutes. Once we met our server, he took our order which was all fine. We asked to have two starters come out first then our entrees. Because one of the entrees came with couscous and I'm gluten free we asked to swap out for rice, which we were told would need to be ordered as a side. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying. Our starters came out, the prawns and charcuterie. Both were fantastic. The sauce on the prawns was a perfect blend of saffron, lemon, and just touch of cream. The charcuterie was also great. We loved the balance on the plate and were surprised that the walnuts were just as great as the meat items. What was less than great was that when both dishes were carried out they were plopped on the table and then the runner left without any explanation of what each item was. We had the charcuterie on our table for five minutes before both our entrees came out. We understand getting everything out when it's hot, but timing could have been a little better. We barely were able to order wine to go with our entrees because the food came out so fast and we didn't have a chance to see our waiter before the plates dropped. Our entrees were good, the flavor in the lamb was lovely, but it was slightly over cooked. It should have come out medium rare, but it was medium well. My short rib was perfectly cooked, but the rice I ordered didn't come out for 20 minutes after I received my food and only after we asked our server about it 3 times. By the time it came out, we were pretty much done eating and then our waiter felt like he had to explain why the rice took so long. We ordered dessert, the creme brulee, which was phenomenal. Another server brought the brulee out and was horrified to see that our table hadn't been cleared from dinner. He cleared the table quickly, brought us a couple boxes, and took my husbands drink order. He was the highlight of service the whole night. Had we sat in his section, we would have had a much different experience. Finally, at the end of our meal, our server dropped the check without saying anything. The other server came, processed our payment, and exchanged a few words. He was great. Overall, the food was pretty good. We'll probably give them another chance, but were disappointed by last night's service.
