Mongolian BBQ

The food was fresh and delicious! I was impressed by all the options. There was more available than at other mongolian grills I've been too. My sister is gluten intolerant and was really excited about the rice noodles available here in addition to regular yakisoba noodles you usually see. I really appreciate that they are open between 2 and 5 which made it possible for us to eat here in the first place. Also the service was above and beyond. I asked for a Thai iced tea without sugar. They pre-make it with sugar in the morning so they didn't have any. After saying no worries several times they still went ahead and made a batch of unsweetened Thai iced tea for me to try and didn't even charge me for it! They checked back in with me several times, they were the sweetest! I will definitely come back here when I am in Tigard.

One of the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants. The owners are always very friendly, as are the staff. The man who cooks the food on the giant skillet has worked there forever (he's not a family member), so he must love it there. The restaurant is not at all fancy, but it's clean. I love the ability to prepare my own food because I can eat an awesome gluten-free meal, and it is good for those on a low-carb diet if you don't eat the rice. Instead of noodles, I pile up the bean sprouts and other veggies in one bowl and use another bowl for my meat. I always ask for the rice wrappers and plumb sauce because my meal is not the same without them. For dessert, they offer bananas, canned fruits and jello--something nice and light after stuffing my face. If a person's food ever tastes gross, it is their own fault because they prepared it on their own. I will always choose this Mongolian BBQ restaurant over any of the similar franchised locations.
