Mongos

We drive through Merritt often but wanted to skip the regular fast food joints this time and found Mongo on Google Maps. We went in without any expectations and came out blown away. Seriously can’t stop talking about what a great place this is. You basically choose from a great selection of veggies + meats and noodles to be grilled with your choice of sauce. Rice on the side is complimentary. We had 5 plates of differing portions. They also had a gluten free sauce (pineapple curry) that was not too spicy. Honey garlic was too sweet for us but Szechuan was very tasty. It’s so nice to have a fresh and healthy option while on the road. Great, friendly, fast service. Fruit/cucumber mint infused and regular water were available at the cutlery bar. Super clean. Family friendly. Can’t say enough good things! My husband would have preferred a little more crunch in his broccoli but still gave it 5 stars. We’ll be back. So happy to have found this place!

The place is very nice and clean. You can create your own plate and meal was really tasty. Special if you have any diet (keto or gluten free…) Highly recommend.
