Monkless Belgian Ales Brasserie

So good! We’re passing through on vacation and we’re very happy with our dinner selection! We did have about a 20 min wait to get seated, but had a drink at the bar. Our waiter was very friendly and the food was delicious: Brussel sprouts, bacon/onion tart, and schnitzel sandwich. I’m gluten free and they had a handful of options. Highly recommend.

Update from a previous review where they did not handle dietary restrictions well (years ago) - the menu is now clearly marked with gluten free options!! Gluten free options are mostly the "sharable" dishes, but we really appreciated the menu changes! Previous review: Drinks are great, but if you are gluten free for any reason, I would not recommend going here and expecting to eat anything. Though many things on the menu look like they should be gluten free, if you ask, the waiters seem to have no idea about the ingredients in the food they serve. Most recently I asked if their potato salad was gluten free - they said they weren't sure, so I asked for the ingredient list. Their response was that they weren't sure of the ingredients, just that there were a lot. I would be cautious to eat at an establishment that is unsure of their ingredients even without dietary restrictions.
