Finding somewhere to eat with a Coeliac can be challenging, so we looked up the menu and allergen information before we went. My daughter was excited to see on the website that she could have a burger with a gluten-free bun. She was given a book with all the allergen information to use alongside the menu, which was really helpful. However, when she ordered the burger with gluten-free bun, she was told that they never have the gluten-free buns at the restaurant. She was disappointed but opted for the hunter's chicken with mash instead.
I ordered steak and the steak itself was beautiful - a good size and cooked perfectly for my taste. It's a shame that the peas that came with it were inedible as they were far too overcooked.
The food was good overall, but the toilets need a refresh and some toilet roll. It was also disappointing to be sat in the family dining area as our children are mature teenagers, though on the plus side it was quiet because we were eating later and for most of our meal we were the only table in that part of the restaurant.
