Nice gluten free and keto menu, was told they can make anything on the menu GF as well.

My friends hyped this place up a lot, they used to love coming here a few years ago, and I gotta say I'm not impressed. It took 15 mintues after sitting down to get a water and then another 10 mintues for our drinks, off to a bad start. Not sure why service took so long, I noticed the servers hanging around the host stand and plenty of open tables, so the team definitely wasn't weeded (kinda should of been a red flag that they are slow on summer Friday night at 7). Food came out quick but really wasn't anything special. Gf like the gluten free menu but was disappointed with the pasta she got, we certainly make better at home, though the scallop portion was nice. I probably shouldn't have gotten a burger, but I wasn't sold yet that the steak or seafood was gonna be any good. Also unsure as to why there isn't a beer menu when you have taps and a whole beer fridge, if I wanted to get up and walk to a fridge to choose a beer I'd do that at home. I've worked in restaurants for 13 years, and have been managing for 6 years, 4 of which as a GM. FOH manager needs to work on staff speed and attitude at tables. Maybe the server was having an off night, which happens, but considering I selected this as my "first visit" and "date night" I kinda expected to be wooed a little and I definitely wasn't. Doubt I'll drive 45 mintues to come here again.
