Four of us dined at Monthien. I am the only celiac. There were several GF options on the menu and I explained to our waiter that I am celiac and cannot eat anything with wheat, gluten, and soy. I was not confident that he understood and hoped for the best. The TomYum martini was outstanding! For starters, we ordered chicken wings and chicken satay (GF). my companions adored the wings. The chicken satay which I tried was good. For entrees, two ordered drunken noodles, one chicken and one beef. Neither were particularly impressed. The other diner order lemongrass chicken, which was not what any of us expected it to look like and she did not enjoy it. I ordered the mango curry with tofu, which was ok. By the time we left, I felt bloated, gas was next, and I think we know how the next day went...Monthien has a great location, so close to many theatres. I am not sure if I would try it again. Maybe it was an off night, but I don't want to get glutened again.
