Tucked away in an alcove near the Westside Parkway's Truxtun Extension's off ramp. A little difficult to find, as it is at end of a small local road that serves medical offices and the local AAA office. I havent had a dish that wasn't great at this diner-themed restaurant. A New-American restaurant with plenty of classics with a modern-twist, baked good and wonderful ice cream of many different types. They have vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Moo Creamery's burgers š are cooked to order and very delicious and juicy. All those I've tried I would have again: Moo Burger, 24-hr Burger, En Fuego Burger, and Bacon & Bleu Burger. The only drawback is that you order your fries separately. However, an order of fries I would say serves 2-3 people, depending on appetites. All fries options I have tried have been delicious: hand-cut fries and sweet potato fries. Their fries 9x out of ten are as like them: slight crunch to the exterior with a softer interior. The fries are always seasoned very well with salt & pepper.
This particular time I got the seasonal Fall Caprese Sandwich (vegetarian) which came with in-house made kettle chips. The sandwich was delicious which included a very tasty pesto spread and a rather large slice of fresh mozzarella on delicate sourdough slices. My wife had a Bacon+Egg Sandwich with gluten-free buns. She said it was good. My son got Mini-Moo hot dog. He seemed to like it. My wife and I helped with the fries that came with his meal. I ordered the Brisket Taquitos and those were amazing and gluten-free and included guacamole and pickled jalapeƱos on the side.
We grabbed two gluten-free Moo Creamery's oatmeal cream pies. The cookie and especially the marshmallow creme are... wow... amazing. My wife sometimes stops by just to get those when she's nearby.
One of my favorite date-night restaurants to go to for nice ambiance and great food. Service is always top-notch at this local Bakersfield joint.
