Moonlight Cakes

We worked with Susan for our groom's cake, bride's cake, and cake pops for our guests. With my husband being gluten free, Susan was very quick to assist in providing a gluten free cake from another bakery, paired with her decoration on top. The cakes were delicious and our guests loved the cake pops! The designs and decor were gorgeous, and really brought our vision to life. Unfortunately, though, this review is somewhat marred from the fact that, during the delivery of the cakes, Susan was unprofessional in her language and composure, calling my father an unfortunate name and being disrespectful to other vendors on our special day. When I heard about this, I approached Susan and expressed my disappointment regarding the matter. She was VERY quick to make things right by apologizing to my father and expressing sincere regret for her actions. We are grateful for such awesome cakes, and are further grateful that Susan took steps to make things right in the end.

We used Moonlight Cakes for our wedding cake and wedding cupcakes. First of all, their cakes and cupcakes taste AMAZING! We tasted cakes from endless other places, and nothing even came close to how delicious Moonlight’s are, not to mention the numerous flavor options! Our guests are still commenting on how delicious everything was. Second, our wedding cake was stunning. They were so patient and kind during the design process and they worked with me until they were able to make my vision come to life perfectly. They are also extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. During our first meeting they gave us important information about buttercream vs fondant for colors and design elements that none of the other bakeries we had visited had told us. In addition, we needed gluten free cupcakes for family members with celiac, and since they don’t have a gluten free kitchen they not only referred us to a bakery nearby that could make them for us, but also picked them up, delivered them, and included them in the display so we didn’t have to do any extra work. Finally, Moonlight Cakes was affordable and they worked with us to make sure we stayed within our budget, including suggesting ideas like fake cake layers (still frosted like the rest of the cake). They truly cared about creating our perfect wedding cake, but also making sure it was one we could afford. Overall, Moonlight Cakes provided us with a beautiful and delicious wedding cake and cupcake arrangement. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
