Have to say the food and service are +10….. Great menu selection, and also a good bar menu if interested. They also have gluten free and a kids menu also. They make sure you have a great portion of food, and you can see how the staff and even the managers are working. D making your experience a good one.

Moose Winooski’s, located in Kitchener, is a large establishment with ample parking and a generous number of staff. While the staff we encountered were polite and courteous, management was conspicuously absent when issues arose, contributing to what was a truly terrible experience for us. If you're looking for BBQ, especially their supposedly renowned brisket, prepare yourself. Our experience with it was nothing short of a disaster. The fajitas and nachos were also disappointing. The menu boasts "Gluten Friendly" options, and upon calling ahead, we were assured they had a dedicated gluten-free kitchen. This news was met with excitement, and we proceeded to order exclusively from the gluten-friendly menu. However, our optimism quickly evaporated when we were informed that the nachos, despite being on the gluten-friendly menu, were fried in a shared fryer. This is not "gluten-friendly"; it's misleading and completely unsuitable for anyone with a genuine gluten intolerance. Despite our repeated inquiries, no manager came to address our concerns. Needless to say, we didn't finish the below-average nachos. This felt like a bad joke. Then there was the brisket, the dish they apparently hang their BBQ hat on. It was so incredibly dry that I actually took a video of it. It was unequivocally the worst brisket I have ever tasted. To her credit, our server, who was otherwise excellent, acknowledged how bad it was and agreed with our assessment. While they did remove it from our bill, that hardly rectifies the experience. The chicken wings, which we were told were gluten-free, were decent and well-sauced. However, the chicken fajitas were dry, arrived without any sizzle, and the accompanying toppings were subpar. When the bill arrived, the brisket had been removed, but the gluten-contaminated nachos remained. At that point, I didn't even bother to argue or make a scene. What I would have expected, and what any well-managed establishment should provide, is for a manager to approach us to understand the situation and attempt to resolve it professionally, rather than leaving a young server to handle such significant issues. A manager's role is to manage and ensure guest satisfaction. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this ranks as the worst restaurant experience I've had. The sheer lack of knowledge regarding dietary restrictions and the apparent indifference towards customer satisfaction, likely due to their high volume of patrons, was astounding. Remember, nothing lasts forever.

the gluten friendly menu is a joke, anyone with allergies/conditions can't have anything from it.
