Great service and plenty of gluten-free choices on the menu.
My girlfriend and I went there for a quick dinner one night. She lives nearby and it’s her go-to diner, which is high praise considering the number of diners on Long Island.
We were both in a salad mood. She ordered the Mediterranean Salad, which had a wonderful mix of fresh lettuce and veggies, olives and an amazing balsamic dressing that had us addicted.
I had the Spinach Salad, which had the usual mix of spinach, tomato, onions, hard-boiled egg and bacon, but also has artichokes and olives, for a more Mediterranean tilt. I had their excellent honey mustard dressing.
Both of us added grilled chicken, which was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The salads were so big that we each took half home and had the rest for lunch the next day.
Service was attentive but not intrusive, and it was a very good value for money. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended, especially if you like the NY diner experience.
