Morning Glory Café

This is my go-to spot in Eugene! I love the fresh-squeezed orange juice. The chilaquiles, waffles, biscuits and gravy and salads are all delicious...I haven't worked my way through everything on the menu yet but those are some of my faves. They have a wide variety of baked goods if you're looking for something quick to go. Right by the Amtrak station if you're traveling. If you or someone in your group is vegan, vegetarian or gluten free there are plenty of clearly-labeled options.

Morning Glory is my favorite breakfast place in Eugene and has been for years (also open for lunch). There are so many vegan options and the entire menu is vegetarian. I usually get the vegan version of the pesto omelette, always satisfying. I love MG's old-school model of servers coming to your table and taking your order, and the servers are consistently friendly! It would be nice to see more menu tweaking occasionally, though their longstanding items are quite varied and delicious. There's a bakery case with amazing muffins, scones etc., all vegan, some gluten-free. And it's rare to find an independent restaurant open every day, which MG is.
