I wish I took a photo --- but I never thought it was going to be as good as it was. I just had, by far, the best breakfast sandwich (not made by me or a friend) since I left NJ over 20 years ago. Pork Roll (Taylor Ham) with Egg and cheese on sourdough (which is supposedly better for those that are gluten intolerant).
The egg was PERFECTLY cooked, and those that eat Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese sandwiches know exactly what I mean. Not too sloppy, but not well done. JUST PERFECT! The proportion of egg to cheese to meat was PERFECT. Everything was perfect. I am stuffed and don't need to eat for 3 days. OK, maybe 2. I was simply agog afterwards with how well done and well made it was, I had to rush here and tell everyone!
Go to the Morning Joint. You'll love it. AND they serve breakfast til 3pm. JUST PERFECT!
