Mother India's Cafe Edinburgh

Quite possibly the nicest indian food ive had in years, with a huge range of food, and variation for veggie, vegan and celiac, there is very little (if anything) to be unhappy about. Staff were friendly and patient and the price was very reasonable for the amount of food!

Delicious meal and lots of gluten free options as well. The waiter was very knowledgeable about which items on the menu were gluten free and free from cross contamination (shared fryer). Overall we had a delicious meal in a nice atmosphere. Very highly recommend

Went here for lunch, was nice enough (best option in old-people tourist-trap Edinburgh). +Has non-meat options. +Tasty food😊 +Very clean; stands out to me as a particularly clean restaurant (including toilets)👍 +Staff knowledgeable about allergens. -Some staff came across as fed-up; still knowledgeable and did their job, the waitress was bright and polite. -Room we dined in was an echo-chamber, was not overly busy but found it hard to hear person I was dining with over the cacophony. -Could not have Pakora as it is fried in the same fryer as gluten food (staff were good to warn me👍; does this mean other restaurants are doing this?)
