Mountain Mama's Coffee Lounge

Mountain Mama’s was the perfect place to have coffee and breakfast while visiting in Blue Ridge. I am a gluten free gal, and was so happy to see that they served sourdough waffles! They were delicious. The coffee was really good as well.

Coziest little coffee shop with the most delicious drinks and pastries. We were fully prepared for our typical coffee house go to white mocha and cold muffin combo, but were pleasantly surprised with the specialty drink menu and the array of DELICIOUS pastries before us. I had the "Froot Loop" matcha latte - a subtlety sweet matcha with notes of lavender, and my husband had the "Heart Breaker" which was out of this world. Great espresso- so Smooth and not bitter, it played great with the orange, chocolate, and lavender. Each sip took us through an array of flavors. For the breakfast portion we had a tomato basil turnover type situation that was divine, and one of their quiches - also fantastic. The pastries were steaming hot with buttery flakey crust. I loved that there were dietary options for vegans, vegetarians, and those with gluten allergies. 10/10 would recommend this cute coffee shop if you're looking for a place to relax, chat with friends, or get some work done.
