Mountain Mike's Pizza

I love this place!! Been a fan for over 30 years. Better than ANY pizza in the Treasure Valley! My family and I drive 30 min to come here and eat. It is my favorite pizza. I grew up eating Mountain Mikes and have it every time I visit home 12 hours away. When I found out they were coming to Star I was ecstatic! My husband literally surprised me and brought home the pizza when they opened. Their pepperoni is different than any pizza in the valley and adds extra crisp and smokiness to the pizza that’s not anywhere else. If you ever wondered if pineapple belongs on pizza you just have to try their Pineapple Chicken Luau Pizza it’s my all time favorite pizza. I used to just order it for myself and now all my kids eat it because it’s that good!!! Which sucks for me, but I don’t blame them. Their salads are also AMAZING and fresh. No nasty lettuce or random sides! Just all the good stuff you want with your “all you can eat” salads. Or side salads. Lastly my husband has celiac disease and their GF Pizza is also so good! We always get their Combination!! You just have to try this place. Mountain Mike’s is always supporting the community and You can always find great deals. I love this place!

Update: It was Christmas Eve, and our son and his fiancee were visiting from out of town. We had just finished church, and were wanting to take them out to dinner. Unfortunately, all of our preferred sit-down, full service with ambiance restaurants were either closed or closing soon. At the last minute, we called Mountain Mike's to pick up some pizzas for takeout. We even had a special order for the fiancee, who needed vegan and gluten free. This location was open until 9 pm, and the staff were very nice. Our pizzas were done according to the timeframe we were given, and we have come to appreciate the quality of their pizza. The crust, toppings, and amount of cheese are all to our liking. This is now our official go-to pizza place in Star. We had out of town family come for a visit. They arrived at our home just after 8 pm after driving all day. They were hungry, and we all decided to order pizza. I called Mountain Mike's at 8:30, asking if we could still order pizzas (they close at 9). The young man said yes, for carry-out only. That was just what we wanted. I ordered two medium pizzas, a pepperoni and a Canadian bacon and pinneapple. We picked them up at 8:50. The staff were nice and the pizza was a hit with all concerned.
